resins "those least saturated", towards the zone
above them, in such a way that the period of
exchange of Calcium and Magnesium ions for
Sodium ions, will take place in a quick and efficient
way.
Water softener models:
TIME CLOCK: In time clock water softeners,
regenerations are programmed by time, for
example: every 5 days. In this way you know that
every regeneration will inevitably take place every
five days, regardless of the water that you have or
have not used. Therefore, you can be regenerating
without having used any water, or perhaps if water
consumption has been very high, the resins will be
over-saturated and not removing the limescale that
might be in the water. Therefore, we will be using
water with all the limescale that it already contained
before passing through the water softener.
These appliances generally function through cams
or switches and they are programmed with a clock.
METERED: This water softener is metered, electro-
nic and digital. The water regeneration system of
these appliances is regulated by the volume of
water that passes through the water softener. This
means that if, for example, you program it to regene-
rate when 6,000 liters of water have passed through
the equipment, it will only regenerate when water
consumption has effectively surpassed this volume,
not before.
Being equipment with a system that has the possibi-
lity of delayed regeneration, this will be effective
when it has been programmed, after having circula-
ted the selected volume of water.
2. RECOMMENDATIONS
Follow the manual for this equipment carefully.
ESSENTIAL: The place chosen for installation
must have a mains water supply (check the
pressure is a minimum of 2.5 Bar and a
maximum
of
(220V-50Hz) and drainage.
Before proceeding with the installation, you must
check that the water softener has all the necessary
components and that these have not been dama-
ged during transport. If you notice any deterioration
or damage attributed to transportation, you must

make a timely complaint to the delivery company
within 24 hours of having received the equipment.
Your water softener must be installed with mains
pressure between 2.5 and 6 Bar. For higher pressu-
res, a pressure reducing valve must be installed
before the entry point of water to the sediment filter
(not included) located before the water softener.
You must not use the water softener with hot
water.
This equipment must be protected from freezing
temperatures, rain, humid environments and direct
exposure to the sun. Drainage connected to the
water softener must be located below the overflow
level.
The water softener needs periodic maintenance.
Consult the installer or Authorized Service Techni-
cian.
