Installing Safety Flag
Join pole sections together. On trailers left side, Insert flag
pole into sleeve on left side of trailer (Figure 16).
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE TRAILER
WITHOUT SAFETY FLAG.

Hooking up Your Trailer

1. Quick Release or Nutted Axle: Remove quick-release
skewer or nut from the left side of bike's rear wheel
axle. Install hitch between quick-release or nut and
frame (Figure 17). Tighten the quick-release or nut
following manufacturer's recommendation. The hitch
can remain on the bike when trailer is removed.

2. Hooking the tow bar to the hitch: Insert flex connector
between the two holes on the hitch. Insert retaining
pin and close retainer. Wrap safety strap around the
frame of the bike twice and latch to the D-ring on the
tow bar (Figure 18). The strap and latch should not be
making contact with the spokes.
