or dough. Using the appliance for extremely hard foods
should be avoided as the blades or motor could be damaged.
• To beat, take the blender and put your finger on the operation
button. Press the button gently with a light pressure and
move the device with a wrap-around movement.
• Please note that your blender has variable speed, which will
gradually increase as the button is pressed stronger. If you
need more power, press the button with your finger until you
get the desired power.
• For greater comfort all our models incorporate a spatula. If
the food or liquid to be beaten remains on the walls of the
measuring beaker, stop the appliance and help to remove the
food using the spatula.
• The appliance must be used in 30-second cycles and
stopped for 1 minute. After 5 cycles it is recommended to let
the appliance cool down completely to continue using it.
• The blades included with the appliance are suitable to crush
ice. To do it, place the ice cubes in the measuring beaker.
Beat with dry strokes until the desired effect is achieved,
taking into account the cycles of the blender.
• After using the appliance, disconnect the device from the
power supply and remove the foot from the blender.
Blades are extremely sharp. Handle with care during use,
disconnection or cleaning.
CRUSHING ICE WITH THE HAND BLENDER
• All Universal Blue blenders are equipped with special blades
to crush ice.
• To do it, place the ice cubes in the beaker cup. It is
recommended to add a small amount of ice initially, not
exceeding one third of the cup. If ice cubes are particularly
big and hard (e.g. those purchased at the supermarket), it is
recommended to add small amount of ice firs and that very
progressively adding new ices on the cup.
