Swing Away Amputee Model #

WARNING: DO NOT use the Swing Away Amputee during
patient transfers. Weight limit: 150 lbs.
To assemble and attach:
1. Press the Yellow Keeper to unlock and then separate the
Swing Plate from the Mount Plate. (Fig. A)
2. Attach the Mount Plate to the down tube of the wheelchair:
a. Use the 3/16" hex key to remove the Mount Plate Screws
from the Mount Plate, and separate the Coupler and Mount
Plate. (Fig. A)
b. Place the Mount Plate at the desired position* on the down
tube of the wheelchair and, using the Mount Plate Screws,
tighten the Coupler around the down tube. (Fig. B)
*For TiLite "V-Front" style chairs, rotate the Mount Plate so
the Post is in a rear orientation. (Fig. C)
3. Loosely attach the Interlock Clamp to the Amputee Pad,
placing the two Socket Head Cap Screws into the outermost
holes for either righthand (R) or lefthand (L) assembly. (Fig. D)
4. To attach the Knuckle Assembly to the Swing Plate Assembly:
Loosen the Swing Plate Screw. Slide the tube on the Knuckle
Assembly into the opening on the Swing Plate. (Fig. E)
