11. FIRST START

Switch on the power at the main switch.
1. Close the shut-off valve at the outlet of the manhole
almost completely.
2. Press the reconnection button "A" located on the
electrical panel.
3. Move potentiometer "B" to the maximum position.
4. Start the electric pump by pressing the "START"
button (red) or by moving the appropriate switch to
the "MANUAL" or "AUTOMATIC" position.
5. Slowly open the main shut-off valve until the requi-
red performance is obtained.
IF THE PUMP DOES NOT GIVE THE REQUIRED PER-
FORMANCE, REVERSE THE DIRECTION OF ROTATION,
change two poles of the power supply cable at the
terminals.
6. Let the pump run for about one hour, checking its
consumption.
7. Adjust the thermal protection regulator to a point
around 10-15% above the pump consumption.
In case the relay cuts out, it is necessary to check the causes (low voltage, phase failure, etc.).
