IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and / or personal injury.
1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage correspondent to the voltage stated on the rating
label on the underside of the appliance.
3. This appliance is intended for domestic use only; any other use may invalidate the
warranty and might be dangerous.
4. Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
5.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a
person responsible for their safety.
6. This product is not a toy; keep out of reach of children.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
9. Always turn the power off at the power outlet and then remove the plug when not in
use and before cleaning.
10. To disconnect, remove the plug from the wall outlet. Do not pull the cord to remove the
plug from the mains supply socket.
11. Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or the appliance itself is damaged.
If its mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified person with a lead of the same type and rating to avoid a
hazard.
12. Do not use an extension cable, it may result in fire, electric shock and / or personal

18. Use handles and knobs only, accessible surfaces get hot.

supplied with this appliance. Use care, as the carafe is very fragile.
20. Never switch your coffee maker on without water in it.
21. Carefully add water to the tank. Wipe the control panel immediately if splashed by
water.
22. Stand the appliance on a stable flat surface before use.
23. Do not use outdoors.
24. Do not fill the tank when the appliance is on. Turn the appliance off and allow to
cool before filling with water.
25. Make sure the carafe sits in place when brewing coffee, otherwise hot water or coffee
