BEFORE FIRST USE
•
Carefully remove the scale from the packaging and remove all packaging materials.
•
Wipe the scale with a damp cloth and dry it.
•
Remove the cover of the battery compartment and make sure that the batteries are
installed properly. If there are no batteries, install them, then place back the cover.
USING A CONTAINER TO WEIGH
•
Turn on the scale by pressing the on/off key. The display will be activated.
•
Select the desired unit of measurement by pressing the unit conversion key (g/oz).
•
Place the container in which you are going to weigh products on the weighing
surface. The display will show the weight of the container.
•
Tare the scale by pressing the tare key (TARE). The display will show a weight of 0
[selected unit of measurement].
•
Place the items you wish to weigh in the container and enter the relevant food code
with the 0-9 number keys. The display will show the nutritional content of the weighed
items.
•
To clear the food code, press the clear food code key (CLR).
•
Press the on/off key for 2 seconds to turn off the scale.
Notes:
You will notice that, when the container is removed after using the tare function, the

scale will show a negative value.
Only use the food codes provided.

To weigh food items without using a container, simply follow the same steps, but
➢
place the items directly on the weighing surface and do not use the tare function.
The scale has a maximum weight capacity of 5 kg. If this weight limit is exceeded,
➢
the display will show an error message.
USING THE MEMORY FUNCTION
You can use the memory function to combine the nutritional information from different
ingredients to get the total values for an entire meal.
•
After entering the relevant food code for the food item on the weighing surface,
press the memory key (M+) to add the nutritional data of that item to the memory.
•
Remove the food from the weighing platform and press the clear food code key
(CLR). You may also have to tare the scale by pressing the tare key (TARE).
•
Place the next item on the weighing surface and enter the appropriate food code.
Press the memory key (M+) to add the nutritional data of that item to the memory.
•
Remove the food from the scale and press the total nutrition key (MR). The display
will show the nutritional values of the two different food items added together.
•
Press the total nutrition key (MR) to return to weighing mode.
Notes:
You can add the nutritional data of up to 99 food items to the memory at once.

To clear the memory, press the clear memory key (MC) in weighing mode until the M
➢
flashes on the display, then press the same key again.
