6-5. POWER:
Berner automatic welding helmets are powered by solar energy.
Berner automatic helmet Standard is without replaceable batteries.
Berner automatic helmet Premium needs to replace when low batterie led blinks.
Replacing the battery CR2450 battery (Picture A-D): Mount the correct way up.
7. COMMON PROBLEMS AND REMEDIES:
• Irregular Darkening Dimming:
- Headgear is set unevenly (Reset the headband)
• The filter does not darken or flickers
- Front cover lens is soiled or damaged (please change the cover lens)
- Sensors are soiled/blocked or solar Panel is blocked (Clean the sensor)
- Sensitivity is set too low or delay time is set too short (adjust to required level)
- Make sure proper shade is selected (not in grinding mode)
- Check battery and verify their good condition and proper installed
- Battery terminals or filter contact surface are dirty / oxidized (clean both)
• Slow response
- Operating temperature is too low (do not use below -10°C)
• Welding helmet slips
- Headgear is not properly adjusted (Readjust the headband).
• Poor Vision
- Change the cover lens / clean filter
- Ensure ambient light not too low
- Ensure the shade number is correctly set
