distance of the further object will be displayed and a circle will surround the Hunt indicator
informing the user that the farthest object is being displayed on the LCD.
There may be times when the laser beam only sees one object in its path. In this case, the
distance will be displayed, but because more than one object was not acquired, the circle
will not surround the Hund indicator.
Advice: While pressing the On button, you can move the device slowly from object to object
and intentionally force the laser to hit multiple objects to ensure that you are only
displaying the furthest of the objects recognized by the laser.
6. Range estimation accuracy
The ranging accuracy of the product is plus or minus 1 m/y under most circumstances.
The product measures the time a laser beam takes to travel from the rangefinder to the
target and back. The maximal range may vary according to climatic and environmental
condition, as well as the color, surface finish, size, shape and other characteristics of the
target.
The following factors affect the range:
Atmospheric condition
Brightness
Object color
Surface finish
Object size
Angle to the object
Object structure
7. Cautions for use
− The NUM'AXES rangefinder employs an eye-safe laser. Nevertheless, do not switch
the unit while aiming at a human eye or while looking into the lens.
− Do not press jointly the On button and the Mode button.
− Keep the rangefinder out of reach of children.
