INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
General notes
Plug in devices only so that a total current of 16A is not exceeded.
The socket outlet can be reconnected. Before opening the socket,
disconnect its power supply.
When changing the connected cable, use the following type of cable:
H07RN-F 3G1.5 for cable lengths of 5.0 m.
Connect the green-yellow protective conductor correctly at the
connection point with the protective conductor mark.
The current carrying conductors are led to the terminals on the shortest
possible way and connected. The protective conductor wire is left 8 mm
longer than would be required for the connection.
The conductors must be reliably connected to the terminals and no wire
must be outside the terminals.
The splash-proof rubber gasket and O-ring must be correctly fitted. The
mounting screws and gland must be properly re-tightened to ensure
continued splash protection.
Setting the timer
Use the integrated timer to automatically switch the sockets on or off at
desired times.
First set the current time by turning the disc of the timer clockwise until the
time is reached (the arrow points to the corresponding hour mark on the outer
circle).
For every 15 minutes there is a bar mark and small pins. For each 15-minute
period of time that you want the connected devices to be on, push the
respective pin outward with a small screwdriver or something similar. So, for
example, if you push the pin outward past 10:15, the outlet will be activated
from 10:15 to 10:30.
The timer will rotate once every 24 hours. If the device is disconnected from
the mains power, the timer stops and must be reset when it is started up again.
