INTENDED USE
This product is used for the non-destructive assembly of flexible V-ribbed belts and is universally suitable
for many vehicle models. Belt drives with flexible V-ribbed belts do not have a tension pulley, but this
special tool is required for gentle assembly.

Do not allow children to play with this tool or its packaging.

Do not use the tool if it is damaged.

Use the tool for the intended purpose only.

Be careful when working on running engines. Loose clothing, tools and other objects can be caught
by rotating parts and cause serious injury.

If you remove the ignition key before repairing, you can prevent the engine from being started
accidentally and resulting in personal injuries.

This manual serves as a brief guide and does not replace a workshop manual. Always refer to the
vehicle-specific service literature, particularly the technical data such as torque values and
instructions for disassembly/assembly, etc.
USE
1. If present, cut the old belt with an appropriate tool.
2. Apply tool to the belt pulley and adjust the distance bolt, so that the tool lies flat on top of the belt
pulley.
3. Cock the new belt, as described in corresponding handbooks, over all rollers and finally, as shown in
the picture, over the tool.
4. Pull the multi-ribbed belt onto the crankshaft belt pulley by turning the crankshaft .
