WARNING:

CAUTION:
This appliance is not intended to be immersed in water during
cleaning. Please observe the instructions that we have included in
the chapter "Cleaning".

Unpacking the Appliance

1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging material such as plastic films, filler
material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the content for any missing parts.
4. In the event that the packaging content should be incom-
plete or if damages are noticeable, do not operate the
appliance. Return it to the dealer immediately.
WARNING: Risk of Injury!
Be especially careful when handling the knife. Only hold
the blades as near to the ends as possible or by the
plastic handling surfaces.
NOTE:
There may be dust and production residue on the
appliance. We recommend cleaning the appliance as
described under "Cleaning".

Notes for Use
CAUTION:
• The knife is not suitable for cutting bones or other
similar hard goods!
• Short-term operation: Do not operate the knife for
more than 2 minutes without a break. Afterwards,
pause for 60 seconds.
• Do not exert too much pressure when cutting; allow the
knife to do the cutting.

Initial Operation

1. Assemble the blades as shown on page 3. (Fig. A)
2. Insert the ends of the blades into the receptacle at the
motor device. They must audibly engage.
3. Press the blades in the direction of the motor device until
the ends are felt to lock in place. Check that they are
firmly attached.
Electrical Connection
Insert the plug in a duly installed socket.
Switching On
• There is a safety latch on the on switch. This prevents
the unintentional pressing of the switch.
Slide the safety latch to the left to unlock the on switch.
