7- OBSERVATIONS
Wrong code: If the code you dial is not the one previously programmed, you will hear a long tone
indicating that this code is not correct.
Locking: the locking system provides you with additional security against theft, since by entering the
wrong combination 4 times in a row, the box is locked for 5 minutes. During this period, the LED
flashes every 10 seconds and each time a key is pressed, the lock emits a long beep. At the end of
this time, you can open the box following the usual procedure.
Low batteries: This system detects that the battery level is low and that it is time to change it. You
will recognize this prompt because the safe emits a series of beeps when you enter the code to
open the safe. The battery is housed inside the keyboard. Slide the cover located at the bottom of
the keyboard and take out the 9V battery. Disconnect the battery and connect a fresh 9V alkaline
battery. Insert it into the compartment located inside the keypad and close the lid.
8- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
VERY IMPORTANT: This is a SURFACE safe, IT MUST NOT BE BUILT INTO THE WALL.
If it is built into the wall, the guarantee is lost.
Along with the box, a metric 12 (M-12) thread and a 6 mm thick washer are supplied that allow
the safe to be mechanically anchored in compliance with the requirements of standard EN 1143-1.
1-Place the box where you want to place it, adjusted to the wall (it is preferable not to remove the
box).
2- With a diameter drill bit suitable for the supplied plug, drill without deviating from the hole
markings. The appropriate length must be at least 10 mm greater than the length of the plug or
screw (depending on models). Check by measuring the part of the drill bit inserted into the wall.
3- In this position, insert the M12 bolt through the supplied washer through the anchoring hole of
the box, up to the surface of the sheet metal (not the wall).
