Assembly of the extractor hood without smoke outlet
When the kitchen does not have a smoke outlet, it will be necessary to install
carbon filters (not supplied), which must be purchased separately.
The sucked air passes through the aluminum filters and through the carbon
filters, being returned to the environment clean and without impurities.
The carbon filters have to be replaced approximately every 3 or 5 months, their
life depends on the frequency of use and the food cooked, fried ones, for
example, emit smoke with more fat than other types of cooked ones.
Carbon filters should never be washed, they must be replaced, and they never
replace aluminum filters. Both must be used at the same time to ensure
adequate air filtering.
Assembly of carbon filters (optional)
Remove the aluminum filter to gain access to the inside of the extractor hood
(figure 12). To install the filters (Figure 11) place them as shown in figure 13
and turn them in the direction indicated by the arrows.
To remove the filters, turn them in the opposite direction to installation and pull
them out.
