TROUBLESHOOTING
If you encounter technical difficulties during setup or operation, check the
following troubleshooting procedures. If the unit still does not work, please
contact your dealer or an authorized service center.

CAUTION CAUTION
Before checking cables, please make sure the power is OFF and unplug
the power cord for your personal safety. For your own personal safety, do
not remove the cover of the unit or attempt to gain access to the inside of
the unit. There are no user serviceable components inside the box.
Problem
Nothing appears on
the front panel
display.
Your remote will not
operate the receiver.
There is power on
the receiver but no
program is displayed
on the TV.

Possible Cause
The receiver is not
plugged in or
something is wrong
with the power supply.
1. The box is in stand-
by mode.
2. Something is
blocking the path
between the remote
control and the box.
3. The batteries in the
remote control need
to be replaced.
The receiver is not
connected properly to
the television set.

Suggested Solution
Make sure that the power chord is
plugged in correctly and that the
socket is functioning properly. Also
make sure that the receiver is
switched on.
Check that nothing is blocking the
front panel. Press the POWER
button on the remote. (This will
bring your box out of standby if it
was in standby)
Check if a colon flashes on the
front panel display whenever your
press a button on your remote. If it
does not, replace both batteries.
If there is still a problem, try to
operate your box using the front
panel buttons. If this works, your
remote may have problems. If
there is still a problem, your box
may be at fault.
Ensure that the TV is set to the
correct AV input.
If your system is connected by RF
cables, switch your TV to the
channel you have selected as its
channel for the Receiver.
