EN
Closes the filter hatch (2).
NOTE: when using for the first time, or whenever the filter is replaced, a slight buzz will
be heard when the steam button (13) is pressed, and no steam will be produced.
This is absolutely normal and is linked to the filling of the filter. Hold the steam button (13)
pressed until the buzzing disappears and the iron begins to deliver steam.
Sort the laundry according to the international symbols shown on the label; if this is missing, sort
according to the type of material.
Start by ironing the garments that require the lowest temperature.
SETTING THE FILTER LIFESPAN
The filter lifespan can be set on the basis of the hardness of the water used for ironing.
Turn the ON/OFF switch (5) to ON.The 8D indicator turns on, in correspondence of the INTELLI position,
and the iron starts to heat up. In this phase, you can set the duration of the filters.
If the water used is fairly hard (i.e. from 9°f to 18°f), no modification is needed as the filter duration is
already set automatically.
If the water is soft (i.e. up to 8°f), the duration can be increased as follows:
1. Press button 8B for at least 2 seconds.
2. The product will beep and the yellow Filter indicator light will turn on (hard water setting between 9° f
and 18°) (8A) and at the same time, the INTELLI program turns off (8D).
3. To alter the setting of the filters, briefly press button 8B. At this point, the indicator light turns green.
To confirm, keep button 8B pressed for at least 1 second. The iron will emit a sound and the «Filter»
indicator light (8A) will switch off. This means the duration setting has been correctly selected.
The previously selected temperature indicator light will now automatically come back on again, flashing.
Wait for the light to stop flashing before using the iron.
