 Scrambler function:
The radio with the same channel selected but with this function disabled will hear the
communication distorted.
Select the "SCRM?" menu.
Options: ON and OFF.
Note:

 Backlights display:
Select the "LED?" menu.
Options: AUTO, ON and OFF.
 Keypad beep:
Select the "BEEP?" menu.
Options: ON and OFF.
 Keypad lock:
Select "KEYBO?" menu.
Options: AUTO and MANUAL. When AUTO is selected, the keypad will auto lock after a
few seconds without operating the radio's.
 TOT function:
Select "TOT?" menu.
Options: OFF, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 240, 270 seconds. A warning tone will alert
you before the programmed transmission time is reached.
 Select scan type:
Select the "SCANS?" menu.
Options: TO/CO/SE.
TO: Scanning will stop when receive a matching signal and will resume automatically after
5 seconds.
CO: Scanning will stop when receive a matching signal until the signal disappears.
SE: Scanning will stop and turn off when receive a matching signal.
 Voice prompt:
Select the "VOICE?" menu.
Options: ON and OFF.
 Select CTCSS and DCS codes:
Options: RX and TX, RX only and TX only. You can select one code for each channel.
Select the "C-CDC?" menu (For RX/TX), "R-CDC?" (For RX only), "T-CDC?" (For TX only).
Into above menus, select the CTCSS code, or press [SQL] key to select the DCS code.
