Problems
· The Espresso flows too slowly or not at
all.
· The coffee is not hot enough;
· You cannot froth the milk.
· The pod or the filter are gripped in the
machine;
· The machine is not working at all;
* This must be done in an authorized service facility only.

Possible Causes
· Very fine grind;
· There are coffee remaining in the
brew-head;
· There is calcareous in the machine;
· There is no water flow and the pump
is abnormally noisy;
· Insufficient pressure
· The machine has not pre-heated
enough time;
· Cold cups
· Low temperature water flows from
the brew-head;
· The nozzle is obstructed;
· Inadequate recipient;
· Inadequate milk;
· Waters flows before steam;
· No steam;
· The boiler does heat when you press
the steam button;
· You did not wait for 15 seconds before
removing the filter-holder;
· Incomplete connections;
· The machine ran out of water and the
safety system has been triggered;
Solution
· Try another coffee brand for espresso;
· Adjust the grinder level to a coarser
grind (between level 2 and 3);
· Clean the brew-head;
· Descale the machine as described in
the instructions manual;
· Check out if the water tank is filled
and correctly placed;
· Verify pressure / replace pump *;
· Verify the temperature lamp;
· Place the filter-holder without coffee
in the machine as it pre-heats, so that
the filter-holder can also heat;
· Allow some water to flow through the
filter-holder, so that it can get warm;
· Pre-heat the cups with the steam
nozzle;
· Verify / replace thermostat *;
· Verify / replace resistance *;
· Clean the steam nozzle;
· Use a tall, narrow container, preferably
metal.
· Use cold whole milk, preferably low
fat milk;
· This is a normal procedure;
· Allow water to flow and place the
recipient only as steam starts;
· Press the steam button (when
applicable) until the temperature lamp
lights;
· Verify / replace thermostat *;
· Verify / replace resistance *;
· Wait for 15 seconds before removing
the filter-holder;
· When removing the filter-holder, make
some lateral pressure to let the filter
or pod fall;
· Check the connections;
· Wait 30 min. before using the machine
again;
