Shoulder straps
1. Adjusting the panel of the carrier
Undo the buckle at the hip belt (3). Unhook the velcro at the hip belt (3) and move the fabric
to the right or left to best adjust the panel to the size of your baby (fig. A). The panel should
cover your baby's whole back.
2. Baby facing the parent: carrier adjustment from the age of 3 months (Fig I)
Put on the lap belt (3) and fasten the buckle. Adjust the hip belt to fit your hips (fig. B). Once
adjusted you have the possibility to roll up the excess belt and secure it with the rubber band.
After you are sure that the lap belt is correctly placed, hug your baby to your chest and
separate his/her legs (Fig. C). CAUTION: Support the baby firmly at all times. While holding
the baby, lift the carrier panel (1) so that it covers the baby's back. Lift the shoulder strap (2)
and put it over your shoulder. Repeat with the other shoulder strap (Fig D). The belt should
hang freely on your back. Then hold the baby with your left hand, take hold of the left strap
with your right hand (Fig. E I) and pull the belt forward (Fig. E II). Hold the belt and your baby
with your right hand. Repeat with the left hand and right strap (Fig. F I). Make sure the
shoulder straps are not twisted or tangled when you tie them on. Tighten the shoulder strap
fabric so that your baby lies close to your body. Then cross the straps over your baby's pelvis
(Fig. F II). Then place the straps under the baby's legs (Fig. G). Tightly tie the ends of the straps
on your back (Fig. H). Make sure the straps are correctly tied! CAUTION: Make sure that the
baby's mouth and nose are not covered.
3. Baby facing the parent: carrier adjustment for children aged 8 months and older
(fig. L)
Put on the hip belt (3) and fasten the buckle. Adjust the hip belt to fit your hips (fig. B). Once
adjusted you have the possibility to roll up the excess belt and secure it with the rubber band.
