The eAZD is a control module
which can be used to control
the RTK-QS.
The module comprises a
control panel with eight
buttons.
Each button has a function
status LED allocated to it.
An 8-wire control cable and
a 3-wire supply cable are
available for connecting up
the module.
The supply cable is used to
connect the module to
terminals 15, 30 and 31.
When the ignition is switched
on (terminal 15), the location
lighting of the control panel
is permanently switched on.

The eAZD is a control module
which can be used to control
the central control unit (ZSE)
of the RTK-5/VE and up to
a maximum of four auxiliary
units (ASG, beacons, hazard
lamps etc.).
The module comprises a
control panel with eight
buttons.
Each button has a function
status LED allocated to it.
An 8-wire control cable, an
8-wire monitoring cable and
a 3-wire supply cable are
available for connecting up
the module.
The control cable supplies
the switch-on voltages for the
devices connected.
If the devices have fault
outputs, these can be
connected with the eAZD via
the monitoring cable. Details
on programming possibilities
can be obtained from
Customer Service. Should a
fault occur in the connected
device, this is indicated by
the respective function status
LED flashing quickly (4Hz)
on the eAZD.
If the eAZD recognises an
undervoltage fault on the
RTK-5/VE, the eAZD
automatically switches all
outputs off and tries to start
the RTK up again after
approx. 5 s. If the repeated
attempted start-up fails, this
is indicated by all the function
status LEDs flashing. The
system can be switched off
by pressing any button.
