Adjusting the Drilling
Depth (Fig. 6)
The button 4 for depth stop adjustment can
be used to set the required drilling depth X.
– Press and hold the button 4 and slide it
along the guide 5 so that the distance X
shown in the illustration matches your
required drilling depth.
– When the desired distance X is reached,
release the button 4.
Fitting the Dust Cap and
Extension (Fig. 7)
You will need to change the dust cap 3/2
depending on the drilling diameter:
– Dust cap 3 for a drilling diameter of 5/32"-
5/8"
– Dust cap 2 for a drilling diameter of 1/2"-1
1/8"
You may need to change the dust cap if the
wall contact surface shows clear signs of
wear which is causing dust to escape
through the extraction brush during
extraction.
Removing old dust cap 2 or 3:
– Press the locking button 14 and pull the
dust cap 2 or 3 upwards out of the
holder.

Mounting new dust cap 2 or 3:
– Insert the new dust cap 2 or 3 into the
holder from above until the locking button
14 clicks in place.
For drill bits 6" to 10" in length, the dust
cap extension 1 is required. Additional 4"
extension can be installed for drill bits up to
14" long. Before starting to drill, make sure
that the tip of the drill bit does not extend
beyond the dust eye, to ensure proper dust
collection.
– Mount and remove the dust cap extension
1 following the same procedure as for
attaching and removing the dust cap.
