READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING YOUR BIN AND
KEEP THEM FOR LATER REFERENCE AS NEEDED.
This bin is intended for domestic use only. Any other use (commercial,
•
professional, etc.) is not permitted.
When cleaning the bin's lid, make sure the battery compartment remains dry!
•
This can be done by cleaning the underside of the lid with a slightly damp
sponge and drying it with a soft cloth (the outside of the bin can be cleaned
in the same way).
Do not force the lid open or press on it. If you pressed on it, use the manual
•
opening button to open the lid.
Persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capabilities
•
are impaired or whose experience or knowledge is insuf cient should not use
the device, unless they are supervised by someone else who is responsible
for their safety, supervision or for giving them prior instructions with regards
to using the device.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
•
Make sure to keep the infrared sensor out of direct sunlight (the lid may open
•
automatically when you turn on the lights at night: this is normal).
Do not place items on the bin as this could interfere with the lid's ability to
•
open. Similarly, make sure there are no obstacles preventing the lid from
closing.
You can enable or disable automatic bin opening using the '0/I' (ON/OFF)
•
switch under the lid.

About the batteries
Replace the batteries when they are depleted or if they are leaking. Wipe off
•
the liquid and install new batteries.
Use only the type of battery speci ed in these instructions.
•
Do not combine new batteries with old batteries or use different types of
•
batteries together.
Remove the batteries if the bin is not in use for an extended period.
•
Battery recycling
Do not dispose of the batteries with household waste. In order to protect
•
the environment, the batteries must be disposed of according to current
regulations.
Dispose of them at your nearest battery recycling point or return them to your
•
store.
Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries, do not disassemble them, do
•
not throw them into a re.
Do not expose them to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
•
Do not incinerate them.
