3. Network configuration using the front panel application

Use the keypad to the right of the screen to navigate through the application:

Use the arrow keys to select a menu or a value, and to modify numbers.
▪
Use the central green checkmark key to confirm data entry and to switch to edit mode.
▪
Use the red 'X' key to cancel or return to the previous screen.

The application is available in both French and English. You
may first need to change the language. If not, go directly to
step .

Select the "Configuration" menu and confirm.

Select the "Langue" menu and confirm.

Select 'English', and validate, the check mark indicates the
selected language. Press the 'X' key twice to return to main
menu.

Select the "Management" menu and confirm.

Select the "Network" menu and confirm.

To change the IP address, select the number you wish to
modify, press the '


Once network configuration is done, press the 'X' key to
return to the previous screen; you will see a confirmation

4. Connecting to the network
1. Connect the network cable (A) directly between the HQSound PROCESSOR IP connector and your PC,
or the network.
2. In case you are using a direct connection, you will need to set an address on the PC in the same range
as the IP address you just set using the front panel application, so both are compatible. Example: if the
HQSound PROCESSOR's IP address is 192.168.17.17, the PC address must be in the 192.168.xx.xx
range. The procedure varies depending on your operating system.
 With using Windows 2000 or Windows XP, go to:
o Control panel/Network connections/
o Local Area Connection / Properties
o Click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the scroll-down menu
then on "Properties".

