WORKPLACE
In order to ensure safety at work, adequate lighting should be provided and the workplace kept clean. Do not use the device in an
environment with an increased risk of explosion, surrounded by flammable liquids, gases or vapors. During work, use appropriate per-
sonal protective equipment and avoid work in a state of fatigue. Adequate ventilation should be provided in the workplace, preventing
the inhaling of harmful fumes generated during soldering.
USING THE DEVICE
Before starting work, make sure that the device is free from defects and faults, and that the power cable is not damaged or broken. If
any fault is found, do not continue working and send the device to an authorized service center. Make sure the power plug fits into the
power outlet. Avoid contact of the power cord with heat, oils, sharp edges and moving parts. Damage to the power cord increases the
risk of electric shock. Use a tool suitable for the job and avoid overloading it. Before starting work, make sure that the tip is clean and
well fixed in the soldering iron socket. Appropriate mounting of the tip affects the heating rate and heating efficiency during work. The
soldering iron is not intended for continuous operation. It should be used in intermittent mode. The maximum heating time is 12s, and
then it should be allowed to cool for a minimum of 48s. Before starting work, prepare a workplace properly. Then connect the plug to
the wall socket. Hold the soldering iron in your hand and direct it to the soldering point. Press the trigger button. Then the LED will
also light up. When soldering, use flux and a binder (tin). Apply the tip to solder points so that the adhesive flows from the tip into the
weld. After soldering, release the trigger and set the soldering iron aside to cool. It must also be disconnected from the power supply
by pulling the plug from the socket.
Before changing accessories or storing, disconnect the plug from the power socket and allow the device to cool down. ATTENTION: the
device gets hot during operation and can cause burns. Do not touch the working part and soldering tip during operation. After heating
the soldering iron, hold it only by the handle. Do not immerse the soldering iron in water or other liquids to cool. Do not solder live parts.
MAINTENANCE, SERVICE, CLEANING
Always pull the plug from the wall socket before carrying out maintenance and cleaning the device. Use a dry, soft cloth or brush to
remove dirt. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents. You can also use an air stream with a pressure of no more than 0.3 MPa.
WASTE DISPOSAL
Damaged equipment, accessories and packaging materials should be recycled and used in an environmentally friendly manner.
