Start-Up
Filling the Water Pressure Equipment
Press the button (6) on the pressure release valve until the
water pressure equipment is depressurised according to the
display on the pressure gauge (5).
Push the pump handle (1) down completely. Unscrew the
pump (3) using the handle by turning it anticlockwise.
Hook the pump handle (1) on the cam (13) of the pump and
lift the pump (3) out.
Remove the filling sieve (2) from the housing. Fill the water
pressure equipment with clean water through the filling
sieve (2).
Observe the maximum fill volume of the pressure
vessel (11). Check the water level (see "Checking the Water
Level", page 7) if necessary.
Remove the filling sieve (2) and fit it back into the housing.
Re-insert the pump (3) and tighten it firmly clockwise.
Connecting the Water Pressure Equipment
Insert the connector (8) for the connection hose into the
hose connection (7) of the water pressure equipment.
Check that it is locked by pulling on the connection hose.
Close the water cutoff valve of the diamond drill. Fit the dia-
mond drill valve connector into the hose connection (9) of
the connection hose. Check the locking mechanism.
Pumping the Water Pressure Equipment
Rotate the pump handle (1) so that it does not hook into the
cam (13) of the pump. Use the pump handle to pump until
the pressure gauge shows 6 bar.
The water pressure equipment is now ready for operation.
The pressure reserve is enough for approximately one con-
tainer filling. If the water pressure is not longer sufficient
during drilling, re-pump with the pump handle (1).
Emptying the Water Pressure Equipment
Empty the water pressure equipment after every use.
Press the button (6) on the pressure release valve until the
