In the case of deep bores pull the drill bit out of
the bore from time to time in order to remove
the bore dust or shavings.
Driving screws
Use of 1st gear is recommended (low speed),
and with the torque control feature in opera-
tion.
When driving screws with deformed heads in
wood, switch on impulse mode (depending on
equipment).
Switch on impulse mode (depending on equip-
ment) to achieve maximum torque when
driving screws.
Tapping threads
Apply a light film of oil to the tap.
Select 1st gear (low speed).
Switch on torque control.
9 Accessories
Use original Metabo accessories only.
To assist in selecting the correct accessories,
make sure that you take a note of the exact
model of your tool for your dealer.

10 Repairs
Repairs to power tools must be
carried out by a qualified electrician
only.
Any Metabo power tool in need of repair can be
sent to one of the addresses listed in the spare
parts list.
Please attach a description of the fault to the
tool.
11 Environmental Protection
Metabo packaging is 100% suitable for recyc-
ling.
Power tools and accessories at the end of their
service life still contain large amounts of
valuable raw materials and plastics which can
likewise be fed back into a recycling process.
These Operating Instructions are printed on
paper produced in a chlorine-free bleaching
process.
Battery packs must not be disposed of along
with domestic waste.

Return any faulty or exhausted battery packs to
your Metabo dealer.
Do not throw battery packs away in water.
Only for EU countries: Do not dispose of
electric tools together with household
waste material! In observance of European
Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and elec-
tronic equipment and its implementation in
accordance with national law, electric tools that
have reached the end of their life must be collected
separately and returned to an environmentally
compatible recycling facility.
