enerAl notes on sAfety
This technical document is applicable for the machine
UVC 9-R. The machine may only be handled by person-
nel who are qualified.
Hold power tools by insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where the cutting tool may con-
tact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a «live»
wire will make exposed metal parts of the tool «live» and
shock the operator.
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all in-
structions. Failure to follow the warnings and in-
structions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future refer-
ence.

se of the mAchine for purposes for
which it is intended
The machine is designed for dry applications on metal
surfaces. For receiving abrasive tools with cylindrical
shafts for milling, grinding, polishing, and deburring. Max
tool diameter 55 mm.

1.2 are regarded as incorrect use and are there-
fore not admissible.

rior to tAKing the mAchine into serVice
Before connecting tool to a power
source, be sure the voltage sup-
plied is the same as specified on
the name plate of the tool. The power sup-
ply should not vary more than 10% above or below the
voltage indicated on the nameplate. Check grinding tool
prior to use. The grinding tool must be mounted centrally
and positioned against the limit stop. The maximum al-

lowable speed of the tool and of the chuck may not be
exceeded under any circumstances. Observe national
regulations. Fit hand protection.

The switch must be at the OFF position, i.e. the «0» is vis-
ible. To switch ON the tool, press the switch, and push it
forwards until it engages audibly, i.e. the «1» becomes vis-
ible. Press the ON/OFF swith to trigger the blocking and
the machine shuts down.
