The C.V (12) LED will light up when this mode is active.
b) Constant current
(CC mode).
- Use the rotary knobs (9) and (11) to set the voltage between 3 and 5V.
- Turn the current adjustment knobs (5) and (7) counterclockwise to the
minimum (0 A).
- Using a short test lead, short-circuit the positive and negative polarity
output terminals together, then use the current adjustment knobs to set
the preferred value.
Caution: The soft noise made by the unit when the poles are shorted is
normal.
- Disconnect the cable from the terminals.
- Adjust the voltage with the knobs (9) and (11).
- In this mode of operation, the unit will output a constant, preset
current value, while the voltage value will vary with the connected load.
The C.C. indicator (4) lights up when the mode is active.
5. After setting the parameters, connect the external load to the appropriate
output terminals (for current >10A use the terminals located on the back of
the power supply).
To avoid interference, connecting the grounding terminal is
recommended(15).
