1. SAFETY WARNINGS
ො This appliance is not intended for being used by children from 0 to 8 years old. This ap-
pliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should not play with the appliance. Clean-
ing and maintenance shall not be performed by children.
ො For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical cir-
cuit. Ask your installer for advice.
ො If the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid risks, it should be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, maintenance department or similar sector professionals.
ො This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
ො Only the appropriate connector must be used.
ො Do not use attachments not recommended or supplied for this product.
ො Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before as-
sembling, disassembling or cleaning.
ො DO NOT place or store the device where it can fall or be pulled in to a tub or sink.
ො DO NOT place the wax warmer into water or any liquid. Keep it on a dry area.
ො If the wax warmer falls into water, unplug it immediately, DO NOT try to reach it into
the water.
ො Never operate the device if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly
or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
ො Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
ො Avoid hanging the cord over a counter or table where it can be pulled on, by children or
tripped over unintentionally.
ො Always use the wax warmer on a level surface.
ො Allow to cool before handing, cleaning or storing the warmer.
ො DO NOT wrap the cord around the wax warmer when in use.
ො Use this device only for its intended use as described in the instruction booklet.
ො CAUTION-EXTREMELY HOT WAX MAY CAUSE BURNS. Always test the temperature of
the wax before using on your skin. Adjust the dial accordingly.
ො Do not use on sensitive skins.
ො Do not turn on the wax machine, if the wax pot is empty.
