IMPORTANT: to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this appliance has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other ).this plug fits a polarized outlet only one way : if the
plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature by yourself.
2. HOW TO USE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Wash the grill in warm soapy water, rinse and dry. DO NOT IMMERSE the UNIT in any liq-
uid. DO NOT IMMERSE the Temperature Control probe or let the probe come in contact
with any liquid.
USING THE GRILL
• Make sure Temperature Dial is set to the "Min" Position. Insert the Temperature Con-
trol Probe into the Grill so the two terminal pins on the Grill are fully inserted into the
probe. If the Temperature Control Probe is not completely inserted, abnormal heating
may occur, resulting in accident or damage.
• Plug the cord in a 220V, 50HZ AC outlet only.
• During cooking, the pilot light may cycle on and off indicating the desired temperature
is being maintained.
• After use, turn the Temperature Dial to the "OFF" position, unplug the unit from the
outlet and then unplug the Temperature Control Probe from the Grill.
3. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
After use, turn the Temperature Dial to the "Min" Position, unplug the cord from the
electrical outlet and remove the Temperature Control Probe from the Grill.
NOTE: When removing the plug from the outlet, be sure to grip the plug unit with your
hand instead of gripping the cord.
CLEANING
• Clean the Grill plate after use while still warm by using a soft damp cloth, paper napkin
or soft sponge.
• DO NOT use cleansers, nylons or metal brushes on Grill surface. It may scratch or dam-
age the surface.
• For oil excess, after the unit is cool, wash the Grill plate with a soft sponge moistened
with a non-abrasive kitchen cleaner while flushing with warm water.
