 The appliance's water tank and coff ee pot lid must always be
closed during operation.
 Defective components must always be replaced with original
replacement parts. Only such parts will guarantee that the
safety requirements are fulfi lled.

2.3.1 Danger of burns

WARNING
The water, heated in this coff ee maker, the water tank as well as
the warming plate, become very hot. Please observe the following
safety notices in order not to burn or scald yourself or others.
 WARNING! The surfaces of the appliance may become hot during
use. Take special care not to touch the water tank, the warming pla-
te and the fi lter holder with a fi lter before they have cooled down
completely.
 Hot steam can escape.
