To avoid damaging the hotplates' non-stick coating, do not use abrasive detergents
or scouring sponges.

Remove food residues with paper towels.
•
We recommend that you clean the waffle iron as soon as possible after it has cooled
completely. This will make it easier to remove the leftover batter.

Then clean the hotplates with a soft (non-abrasive) sponge, soaked in hot water and
washing-up liquid. Rinse with clean water and dry carefully with a soft cloth.

Wipe the body of the appliance with a soft cloth or a damp sponge.
•
The excess batter tray (6) can be washed in a dishwasher.
Traditional waffle recipe
For about 10 waffles
Ingredients:
- 300 g of flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 50 cl of milk
- 100 g of melted butter
- 75 g of sugar
Preparation:
Melt the butter.
Beat the eggs.
Put the flour in a deep wide bowl, and make a well in the middle.
Gradually pour in the milk, sugar and cooled melted butter into the well and whisk from
the centre, to create an even consistency without lumps.
Whisk the batter vigorously with an electric mixer or if possible, in a food processor.
Add the yeast.
Cover with a tea towel and leave to stand for at least 1 hour.
