– Liquids which have leaked out of the battery may represent an increased danger
of fire in the vicinity of naked flames. Check and clean wetted components, for
example, with dry paper towels, and rinse thoroughly with water.
– Never extinguish burning Li-ion battery packs with water.
Use sand or a fire blanket.
– This Li-ion battery pack is subject to the provisions of the hazardous goods law.
The battery pack can be transported on roads by the user without any additional
requirements.
– When dispatching via a third party, e.g. by airfreight or haulier, special packaging
and marking requirements must be observed.
An expert in hazardous goods must be consulted to prepare the package.
– Only dispatch undamaged battery packs. Insulate open contacts and secure the
battery pack such that the packaging prevents slippage and damage. Observe any
further national regulations.
