IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:

1. Use appliance only for it's intended use.
2. To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse
the appliance in water or other liquids.
3. The appliance should always be turned to "MIN" before
plugging or unplugging from outlet. Never yank the cord to
disconnect from outlet, instead grasp plug and pull to
disconnect.
4. Always disconnect appliance from electrical outlet before
filling with water, emptying or when not in use.
5. Do not allow cord to touch hot surface. Let iron cool
completely before putting away. Loop cord loosely around
iron when storing.
6. Do not operate the iron with a damaged cord or in the event
the iron has been dropped or damaged. To avoid risk of
electric shock, do not disassemble the iron. Take it to a
qualified serviceman for examination and repair. Incorrect
assembly might result in a risk of electric shock when the
iron is used after reassembly.
7. Not intended for use by children. Close supervision is
necessary for any appliance being used by or near children.
Unsupervised use can result in fire or personal injury. Do
not leave the appliance unattended while plugged in ,on an
ironing board, or while it is still hot.
8. Burns can occur from touching hot metals parts, hot water
or steam . Use caution when you turn the iron upside down.
There may be hot water in the reservoir.
9. The use of an accessory attachment is not recommended by
