NOTE: After first connection of gas cylinder, the grill may require two or
more attempts to light in order to get the proper amount of gas to the
burners.
Ignitor Lighting
• Do not lean over grill while lighting.
1.
Plug in AC power cord.
2.
Open lid during lighting or re-lighting.
3.
Turn ON gas at LP cylinder.
4.
Press power button to turn on controller.
5.
Turn knob to desired temperature.
6.
Press and release knob to ignite grill.
7.
If ignition does not occur in 5 seconds, press and hold the power button to turn
burner controls off. Wait 5 minutes and repeat the lighting procedure. If ignitor
does not work, follow match lighting instructions in manual.
Burner operation: After lighting grill, the primary burner will remain on
throughout the cook cycle. The secondary burner will cycle on and off as needed
to obtain the desired set temperature.
WARNING
Turn controls and tank OFF when not in use.
CAUTION
If ignition does NOT occur in 5 seconds, turn the controller
and repeat the lighting procedure. If the burner does not ignite with the valve open,
gas will continue to flow out of the burner and could accidently ignite with risk of
injury.
Match-Lighting
•
Do not lean over grill while lighting.
1.
Plug in AC power cord.
2.
Open lid during lighting or re-lighting.
3.
Turn ON gas at LP cylinder.
4.
Press power button to turn on controller.
5.
Turn knob to desired temperature.
6.
Place match into match holder (hanging from side panel of grill). Light match;
then light burner by placing match through the match light hole on side of grill.
Press and release knob to ignite grill. Be sure burner lights and stays lit.
USE AND CARE
•
Putting out grease fires by closing the lid is not possible. Grills are well
ventilated for safety reasons.
•
Do not use water on a grease fire. Personal injury may result. If a grease fire
develops, turn controller and LP cylinder off.
•
Do not leave grill unattended while preheating or burning off food residue using
Autoclean cycle. If grill has not been regularly cleaned, a grease fire can occur
that may damage the product.
