(EN) Instructions for use
• Install the pump in the aquarium and ensure
that it is submerged completely.
• Install the pump in a place in the tank to
allow the water to flow in a circle freely.
• The filtration will decrease or block, as
admission of water becomes less, possibly
due to a clogged filter. Clean it regularly or
replace it when necessary.
• Clean the impeller at least once a month.
Remove the filter housing by pulling it
gently. Do the same with the impeller cap.
You can now remove the impeller from the
pump. Clean the impeller in fresh water and
flush the pump well. This way, you will avoid
that the impeller seizes after some time.
Reassemble all parts carefully.
• Remove the filter housing and install the
circulation cap, supplied in the box. Ensure
that the impeller and the impeller cap are
already installed! As such, you transform
the inner filter into a pump to be used for
circulation or biological filtration.

Safety precautions

• Always make sure that the Barracuda is
installed completely before plugging it into
the mains. This will prevent the pump from
being damaged by overheating.
• If the lead is broken, the appliance should be
thrown away.
• If the appliance is used by people with a
certain physical disability or by minors, an
adult should always supervise such use.
• The plug should always be accessible once it
has been connected.
• While replacing the water, or working inside
of the tank, always disconnect the pump
and other electrical components in your
aquarium first.
• When the pump operation becomes noisy,
replace the impeller, since it wears out.
