OPERATION

Turn the appliance on or off using the on/off switch.
Operation with the light sensor
The appliance is equipped with a light sensor that switches the unit on when
it is dark and off when it is bright. To activate this function, simply switch
on the appliance and remove the sensor cover. The light sensor is activated
automatically. To deactivate this function, cover the light sensor with the
corresponding cover.
Note: Do not forget that the appliance is equipped with a light sensor. To
be able to use it during daylight hours, you must fit the light sensor with the
corresponding cover.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Cleaning the collection container
• Switch off the device immediately and pull the power plug out.
• Turn the lid to the left to open the collection container.
• Remove the remaining insects. Clean the container with a brush. Do not
leave any residue in the container.
• Turn the collection container clockwise again onto the housing until you
hear a click.
Replacing the UV lamp
Before replacing the UV lamp, switch off the appliance and disconnect the
mains plug from the socket. Remove the collection container as described
above. Unlock the hopper bracket with a screwdriver and unscrew the fan
bracket with a screwdriver. Replace the UV lamp with a lamp of the same
power, voltage and size. When you have finished the replacement, reassemble
the filter holder and the collection container.
