JBL PRONOVO
4. The symbol for feed 1 flashes. Set the desired feeding time with "HR" and "MIN". After-
wards set the desired food quantity by pressing the "Food quantity" pushbutton several
times. Then press "SET" again to confirm. Up to 8 levels are possible. The level depends on
the size of the granulate. Do a test beforehand to determin the final level.
5. Set all other required feeding times (up to 4 feeds per day) in the same way and finish with
"SET".
If a feed is not required, set the time to 00:00. The corresponding symbol will then disap-
pear from the display and feeding will not be carried out.
6. Manual feeding: By pressing the pushbutton "Manual feeding" several times (up to 8
times), an extra feeding with the corresponding food quantity can be triggered. A few
seconds after the last press of the pushbutton, the feeding will start.
This procedure is recommended to determine the amount of food needed and to set it as
described in point 4.
7. After switching off the automatic feeder via the On/Off switch, all programming is re-
tained and the clock continues to run. After removing the batteries, the programming will
need to be repeated.
8. By pressing "SET" several times, all set times are displayed in succession.
9. If no button is pressed for approx. 30 seconds, the display returns to the time display.
Installation:
1. Depending on requirements, the automatic feeder can be mounted on the aquarium
either with suction cups or by means of a clamp holder. To do this, slide the two holders
either with the suction cups or the clamp holder onto the holding rail of the automatic
feeder. Allow sufficient space between both suction cup holders, to enable a stable sup-
port.
2. Position the feeder so that no water can splash onto the food outlet opening!
3. Fill granulate food into the feed chamber. If required, a sealed 250 ml JBL food can be
screwed onto the top opening of the automatic feeder.
When using a 250 ml JBL PRONOVO
first.
When screwing on the JBL food can, apply a little downward pressure to cut open the seal
of the 250 ml JBL food can. The sealing foil will be cut wide enough for the food to drop
out, but the foil will stay attached to the can and thus does not fall into the dosing screw.
4. As an option an air pump can be connected to the air connection of the motor housing.
This will keep the food permanently dry.
5. As a test, try out a manual feeding, as described in the previous chapter. It will take several
turns before the screw channel is filled with food. Only then will the food supply be steady
