9.5 Sterilization
– Place the medical device individually a in the sterilization bag, and put into a steam sterilizer (autoclave)
– Sterilize in autoclave with by performing 3 pre-vacuum cycles for at least 18 minutes at 134°C (273°F).
NOTE
– Improper servicing and care of the medical device will cause the premature wear and malfunction, thus will reduce the medical device life, it is requested
to service and care the medical device according to ISO 17664 to proceeding with the procedure: cleaning, disinfecting, lubricating and sterilizing.
– It is not permitted to wash the head of the medical device.
– In the procedure of cleaning the exterior of the medical device it is permitted to spray the disinfectant on a lint-free cloth, then thoroughly wipe
down the medical device.
– In the procedure of cleaning the interior of the medical device if any dirty leaking lubricant come out, it is requested to repeat the lubricating
procedure.
– If it is necessary attach the medical device to the LED coupling to the compressed air hose to run for a 10-20 seconds to distribute the lubricant to
the cartridge of the medical device more e ectively
– Hold the medical device fi rmly to prevent the medical device falling down from your hand due to excessive spray pressure.
– In the procedure of chucking system cleaning and lubricating hold the spray can upright.
– Carry out chucking system cleaning and lubricating at least once a week.
– Always hold the spray can upright, not upside-down
