7. Troubleshooting
CAUSE
- No power
- Faulty cable
- Environment thermostat set too low
- Protection cap of thermostat outlet not
inserted
- The safety thermostat has been tripped
- No oil
- Oil filter clogged
- The oil pump does not build up pressure
- Leaks in oil pipes
- Burner nozzle clogged
- Ignition defect or electrodes in incorrect
position or dirty
- Nozzle clogged
- Leaks in oil pipes
- Oil pump provides only low pressure
- The photo-electric cell does not receive
sufficient light or is faulty
- Insufficient ventilation
- Safety thermostat in incorrect position
- Faulty safety thermostat
REMEDY
- Check main on/off switch and power line
- Have cable replaced by a qualified
technician
- Turn the termostat to a higher tempe-
rature
- Insert protection cap in thermostat outlet
- Reset safety thermostat
- Fill the oil tank
- Clean or replace the oil filter
- Contact qualified personnel
- Check the pipes and if necessary
replace
- Clean or replace the nozzle
- Consutate qualified personnel
- Clean or replace the nozzle
- Check and if necessary replace oil pipes
- Consult qualified personnel
- Clean the photo-electric cell; if this is not
sufficient consult qualified personnel
- Consult qualified personnel
- Check position of safety thermostat
- Consult qualified personnel
