FEATURES
INCREASE THE DISTANCE
Increased terminal distance to each of the 10 outputs, up to 3 terminals on one output.
PROGRAMMING
Programming of home terminals: To select the programming mode we must configure the dipswitches
of the decoder. Make sure that the DL LED shows that the programming has been completed and
remains fixed.
Sequential mode:
remote programming of terminals.
With the decoder powered and the LED on, Press the PGM button for more than 1 second and less
than 10 seconds. When the button is released, the decoder starts, for each of the 10 outputs, the
terminal programming.
The address assigned to each of the outputs depends on the dipswitches configuration. See
ADDRESSES TABLE
Open mode:
free programming of terminals.
With the decoder powered up and the LED lit, set minidip number 8 of the "DECODER" dipswitch to
ON (Open mode), minidip 8 of the "BLOCK" dipswitch to ON.
There are two ways of programming an output:
- If the terminal has a programmed address already; by sending an F1 command, auto-on or Guard
unit call (key), the decoder will pick up the terminal address and store it in the output that has
received the command.
- If the terminal does not have an address, we can carry out the inverse programming with the panel.
Once we have finished the programming, put the dip 8 of the dipswitch BLOCK to OFF.
BLOCK THE INSTALLER MENU:
To avoid possible errors or misuse by the user, the access to the installer menu on the monitor can be
controlled by the decoder.
Sequential mode:
- To block the installer menu: After programming the decoder outputs, the installer menu will be
blocked.
- To unblock the installer menu: Press the programming button (PGM) on the decoder for 10
consecutive seconds to access the installer menu from the monitor. After 30 minutes it will be
locked again.
Open mode:
- To block the installer menu: Minidip 8 of dipswitch "BLOCK" to OFF.
- To unblock the installer menu: Minidip 8 of dipswitch "BLOCK" to ON.
ISOLATION BETWEEN TERMINALS
If a short circuit, voltage lower than 15 Vdc or over consumption (peak consumption greater than
1 A) is detected in any of the 10 outputs, this will be isolated from the rest and the system could
reboot.Every decoder output has 1 red LED, if it is on, it indicates that the output has a problem. We can
disconnect the output or turn off the decoder to recover it. If the short-circuit occurs in the cable without
having a terminal connected or there is a telephone connected, once the short-circuit is eliminated, the
output recovers automatically.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The set-up process can be completed using either a screw fitting or a DIN rail installation

Connectors
a) System connection terminals
a1)
B, B (INPUT/ OUTPUT):
terminals connecting the bus of the input/output riser. The decoder takes
the power from either of its B B terminals (INPUT) using the other B B as bus output (OUTPUT).
a2)
B1, B1 - B2, B2 - B3, B3 - ........ - B10, B10:
You can connect a maximum of 3 terminals to each of the 10 outputs.
Status LED for each output: FIXED RED if there is a short circuit problem at the output, voltage
below 15 Vcc or overconsumption (peak consumption greater than 1 A).
b) PGM:
programming button.
c) DL (green):
power supply LED and operating modes.
DL
OPERATING MODES
Switched off
No power or power < 17 Vdc
Rapid flashing
Not programmed
Switched on
Standby or parameter synchronization
Slow blinking
Receiving commands by the bus or Active communication channel
1 flash every 3 seconds
Remote address programming
Double flashing
Unlocking the installer menu or valid address reception in open mode
d) SW SWITCH:
switch for selecting the adaptation of the line.
e) DIPSWITCHES:
to assign the DIRECTION TABLE to the decoder outputs and set the programming mode.
e1)
BLOCK ADDRESS:
• To assign the address of the Block in sequential mode.
• Dip 8 ON + DECODER DIP 8 ON: it activates the window for programming in open mode.
• Dip 8 OFF: it deactivates the window for programming in open mode.
e2)
DECODER ADDRESS:
• To assign the decoder output address in sequential programming.
• Dip 8 ON: it activates the open mode, enables open programming mode. Leave ON if this
mode has been used.
e3)
OFFSET DIR.:
to make the address of output 1 of the decoder start from [number chosen at
OFFSET].
f) Silk-screen printing Box to record the addresses of each output.
