SaFEty
• T he blades are sharp, handle with care. Hold the knife blade at the top
away from the cutting edge, both when handing and cleaning.
• D o not plug the appliance into the power supply unit before it is fully
assembled and always unplug before de-assembling the appliances or
handling the knife blade.
• R emove the knife blade before emptying the bowl.
• N ever use an unauthorized attachment.
• D on't let children play with this appliance.
• N ever use a damaged appliance. Get it checked or repaired: see "service".
• N ever let the power unit, cord or plug get wet.
• D on't let excess cord hang over the edge of a table or workshop or
touch hot surface.
• N ever misuse your food chopper and only use it for its intended
domestic use.
• D o not use if there is any visible damage to the appliance, cord or plug:
check them regularly.
• T he appliance is not intended for use by young children or incapable
persons without supervision.
• N ever leave the appliance unattended.

• D o not run the chopper continuously for longer than 10 seconds.
Leave to cool-off for 1 minute before the second operation.
• D o not operate the chopper if the bowl is empty.
• N ever operate the chopper with the bowl filled with liquid.

BEFoRE PLuGGING IN
Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on
the underside of the power unit.
BEFoRE uSING FoR thE FIRSt tImE
• R emove all packaging including the plastic blade covers from the knife
blade. These covers should be discarded as they are to protect the blade
during manufacture and transport only.
• W ash the parts: see "cleaning".
to uSE thE FooD choPPER
• P lace the non slip mat onto the work-surface, rib upside down.
• P osition the bowl onto the middle of the non slip mat.
• F it the knife blade over the pin in the bowl.
• A dd your food, see processing guide.
• C ut large pieced of food into 1-2 cm (1/2-3/4 in pieces).
• D on't chop hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes, spices
or chocolate-you'll damage the blade.
• F it the splashguard. Make sure the slots in the splashguard fit over
the handles in the rim of the bowl.
• T he super chopper will not operate unless the splashguard in fitted
in the right position.
• F it the power unit.
• T he power unit will only fit correctly in two positions.
• P lug in. press down on the power unit for short lengths of time to produce
a pulsing action-this will avoid over processing the ingredients.
• I f the appliance is overloaded, remove some of the mixture and
continue processing in several batches.
