4.4 Users
The Admin user has full control of the User List including following functions:
• Viewing the user list
• Adding new users
• Turning user ID check on or off (default setting is "on")
• Exporting and importing user lists using a USB memory stick
4.5 Instrument Check
The admin user can configure the instrument check method and schedule:
The method can be configured between:
None:
whereby the instrument check functionality is hidden from the
testing and results, and no instrument check status is applied.
Warning:
whereby a warning is displayed to the user prior to running a
control test or patient test when the instrument check status is set
to fail or is due.
Lockout:
whereby the user is prevented from running a control test or
patient test when the instrument check status is set to fail or is due.
The frequency at which the instrument demands the test can be chosen by the admin user (none, daily, weekly or
monthly). The default frequency for the instrument check is daily, and the recommended minimum frequency is
at least weekly.

The admin user can configure the control test method and schedule:

Where the control test functionality is hidden from the testing and
results, no control test status is applied.
Warning:
Where a warning is displayed to the user prior to running a patient
test when the control status for that test type is set to fail or is due.
Lockout:
Where the user is prevented from running a patient test when the control status for that test type
is set to fail or is due.
