Examine the components for damage and signs
of wear before each use .

Always clean the helmet after finishing your
work .
■
Use a moistened cloth to clean the helmet, ear
protectors and visor . Never use petrol, solvents
or cleansers which can damage plastic .

To disinfect the helmet and ear protectors, use
only cleaning agents that do not contain sol-
vents or aggressive substances .
■
Store the helmet, ear protectors and visor in a
clean, dry environment away from UV rays .
■
The helmet can be transported in the box in
which it was sold .
Durability
■
The materials used for the helmet age naturally .
Only use the helmet for a maximum period of
5 years .
Please refer to the fold-out page (fig . H) for the
date of manufacture . The same symbol is im-
printed into the helmet .
Disposal
Your local community or municipal
authorities can provide information on
how to dispose of the worn-out
product .
The packaging materials have been
selected for their environmental
friendliness and ease of disposal and
are therefore recyclable . Dispose of
packaging materials that are no longer needed in
accordance with applicable local regulations .
Dispose of the packaging in an
environmentally friendly manner .
Note the labelling on the packaging
and separate the packaging material
components for disposal if necessary . The
packaging material is labelled with abbreviations
(a) and numbers (b) with the following meanings:
1–7: Plastics,
20–22: Paper and cardboard,
80–98: Composites .
