switch off the appliance and let it cool down for 5 minutes.
Then repeat the process with fresh water.
2.2. Making coffee:
2.2.1. Fill the water tank with the required water quantity.
Ensure that the water level is not lower than the minimum
mark and not higher than the maximum mark. Use fresh,
cold water only. The number of cups can be read on the
water tank.
2.2.2. Fill the desired quantity of ground coffee into the
filter.
2.2.3. Switch on the appliance. Wait until the brewing
process is finished and the funnel has run empty.
2.2.4. For large cups: its takes +/- 5- 6g of ground coffee
for each cup.
2.3. Making more coffee straight after the first batch:
2.3.1. If you have made one cup of coffee and wish to make
more coffee straight away, switch off the coffee maker and
allow at least 5 minutes for it to cool down. Then you can
refill the water tank.
3. Cleaning
3.1. Always remove the main plug from the wall socket
before cleaning the appliance.
3.2. Never immerse the appliance in water.
3.3. You should clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
3.4. The carafe, filter and the funnel can be washed in hot
soapy water.
4. Descaling:
4.1. Descale your coffee maker regularly.
4.2. Operate the appliance as described. However, instead
of water, now use vinegar to fill the water tank and do not
fill the funnel with ground coffee.
4.3. After descaling, run the boiling process for 2 or 3 more
times with clean fresh water to rinse away the vinegar and
remaining scale.
5. Operating instructions:
5.1. Main functions:
5.1.1. The appliance has two working modes: delay heat
(0-24 hours) and immediate heat.
5.1.2. Automatic shutdown protection: The appliance will
turn of automatically after 40 minutes.
5.1.3. Alert to clean: after 200 uses, the appliance will
buzz to remind you to clean the appliance.
• To stop the buzzing, press and hold the "DELAY" button
for at least 3 seconds.
• The sound will stop and the counter will start from zero
again.
5.2. Functions:
5.2.1. On/off: This button can change the appliance from
on to off or to cancel the process completely.
5.2.2. DELAY: Used to pre-set the delay timer from 1-24
hours and also used to stop the "Cleaning alarm sound".
• DELAY (set): press both the "H" and "MIN" to set the
timer.
5.2.3. " h": Pressing this key will allow you to add 1 hour to
the timer.
5.2.4. " min": Pressing this key allows you to add minutes
to timer.
5.3. Operation:
5.3.1. When switching on the machine it will show 00:00.
Press "h" / "min" until you have reached the desired time.
5.3.2. Press the on/off button then set the time; it will start
the process immediately.
5.3.3. Press the "DELAY" then "Set" buttons first then set
the time, the appliance will start at a delayed time pre-set
by you.
5.3.4. After setting you desired time, press the "set" then
the screen will show the desired time.
• Press the "on/off" button to stop the delay process and
start the process immediately. (the display light will be
red)
• Press the "delay" button and the screen will be blue.
5.3.5. You can use the "set" button to view your delay
time.
5.4. Protect function:
5.4.1. When the machine is on for 40 minutes without any
keys pressed then it will automatically switch off.
6. Recycling:
6.1. These electrical products, cables, batteries, packag-
ing and the manual, should not be mixed with general
household waste. For proper recycling, please take these
products to your nearest Creative Housewares office
where they will be accepted for recycling free of charge.
6.2. Alternatively, please contact your local authority or
household waste disposal service for further details of
your nearest designated collection point. Correct product
disposal saves resources and prevents negative effects on
human health and the environment.
