5 Press the center part of the DIAL to start the engine, according to the figure
below.
NOTE: If the engine does not start in 3 or 4 seconds, release the start button
(DIAL) and wait a few seconds to try again. Otherwise, it may overheat and
damage the starter motor.
6 Once the engine starts, slowly rotate the choke to the RUN position,
according to figure below.
NOTE: The engine must not be kept running with choke in the START
position, because the mixture would be too rich and cause engine problems. So as
soon as the engine is started, the user must ensure that the choke is placed in the
RUN position.
Information: The battery may be weak if the generator was stored for a long time.
If the battery is weak, the generator must be started manually (see chapter 5.4).
Automatically, during the running, the battery is charged.
