1. Disconnect the building-side connecting
cable from the power supply and secure it
against being switched on again. To do
this, trip the corresponding circuit breaker
of the house installation.
2. Remove the light from the mounting pot
(Figure 1).
3. If necessary, pierce or cut a cable
opening in one of the perforations provided
on the side of the light fixture in the
mounting pot (Figure 2).
4. Lead either the building-side connection
cable (Figure 3) or that of the luminaire
(Figure 4) through the opening just
created. Make sure that you have enough
space in the installation pot afterwards to
store the cables and the connector.
5. Connect the connection cable of the light
with the
connection cable on the building side. The
cables must be connected in a watertight
manner (e.g. with a cable sleeve).
6. Now place the lamp in the enclosure pot
and place it in the designated location.
7. Turn the power back on. The installation
is now complete.
