serted in the power tool, it is held in position by means of a
spring.
To remove the battery (7), press the release button (8) and
pull the battery forward and out of the power tool. Do not
use force to do this.
Battery charge indicator
The green LEDs on the battery charge indicator indicate the
state of charge of the battery. For safety reasons, it is only
possible to check the state of charge when the power tool is
not in operation.
Press the button for the battery charge indicator or
show the state of charge. This is also possible when the bat-
tery is removed.
If no LED lights up after pressing the button for the battery
charge indicator, then the battery is defective and must be
replaced.

Changing the Tool (see figure A)
Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-
u
ing out work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be re-
moved for transport and storage. There is risk of injury
from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
Remove the depth stop (4) from the power tool. Pull the
screwdriver bit (1) out. If required, the universal bit
holder (14) can also be pulled out and replaced. Use a pair
of pliers if necessary.
After changing the tool, reattach the depth stop (4).

Operation
Starting Operation
Inserting the battery
Note: The use of batteries unsuitable for your power tool can
lead to malfunctions or damage to the power tool.
Set the rotational direction switch (5) to the middle position
to avoid unintentionally switching it on. Insert the charged
battery (7) into the handle until you feel it engage and it is
flush with the handle.
to
Setting the rotational direction (see figures E–F)
The rotational direction switch (5) is used to change the ro-
tational direction of the power tool. However, this is not pos-
sible while the on/off switch (12) is being pressed.

30−60 %
5−30 %
Switching on/off
0−5 %
To start the power tool, press and hold the on/off switch
(12).
The LED lights up when the on/off switch (12) is lightly or
fully pressed, meaning that the work area is illuminated in
poor lighting conditions.
Press the lock-on button (6) to lock the on/off switch (12) in
this position.
Capacity
To switch off the power tool, release the on/off switch (12);
80−100 %
or, if the switch is locked with the lock-on button (6), briefly
60−80 %
press the on/off switch (12) and then release it.
40−60 %
Adjusting the Speed
20−40 %
You can adjust the speed of the power tool when it is on by
5−20 %
pressing in the on/off switch (12) to varying extents.
0−5 %
A light pressure on the on/off switch (12) results in a low ro-
tational speed. Increased pressure on the switch causes an
increase in speed.
Screwing in Screws
To screw in screws place the screw on the screwdriver bit
(1). The screw will be held in place by the magnetic reten-
tion force of the universal bit holder (14). Slide the rota-
tional direction switch (5) on the left-hand side of the power
tool towards the front of the power tool. Switch the power
tool on and push the tip of the screw firmly against the work-
piece. The screw is screwed into the workpiece until it
reaches the set screw-in depth. The reversible depth
stop (4) touches the workpiece and the drive is switched off;
the universal bit holder (14) stops turning. Check the screw-
in depth and readjust the reversible depth stop (4) if neces-
sary.
Clockwise: Slide the rotational direction switch (5) on
the left-hand side of the power tool towards the front
of the power tool. The rotational direction switch (5)
on the right-hand side of the power tool automatically
slides backwards.
Anticlockwise: Slide the rotational direction switch
(5) on the left-hand side of the power tool backwards
(i.e. away from the front of the power tool). The rota-
tional direction switch (5) on the right-hand side of the
power tool automatically slides forwards.
