W e recommend storing the steam cleaner with the
carpet glider base [19] attached. However, the microfibre
floor cleaning cloth [17] should be removed to prevent
the leakage of water and formation of mould and mil-
dew.
2.
R otate the upper hook for the retractable cable [6] into
the storage position as illustrated and wrap the mains
cable [11] around both hooks [6], [14].
3.
P ress the release button for the folding handle [3] and
move the handle [1] to store the appliance compactly.
Only store the appliance once it has cooled down
completely and the water reservoir has been emptied.
Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
Do not expose the steam cleaner to extreme solar radiation
or weather effects such as rain or frost etc.

Steam cleaner
A lways remove the mains plug from the wall socket
before attempting any cleaning or repair work.
To clean the steam cleaner, we recommend occasionally
wiping it with a moistened towel. Do not use any abrasives,
alcohol, benzene or chemicals on the device.
Microfibre floor cleaning cloth
The microfibre floor cleaning cloth [17] may be washed in a
washing machine (max. 60 °C).
D o not use bleach or fabric softener.
Allow the cloths to dry fully before storing.
Replacement floor cleaning cloths can be purchased
in stores.
Disposal

When this appliance is discarded, it should
be rendered unusable (e.g. by severing the
mains cable from the mains plug) and dis-
posing of it per applicable regulations.
Your local municipality can provide you with
further information on this.
Make sure to sort any recyclable or compo-
stable packaging into the proper bins!

Malfunction
⇒ Possible cause

The appliance does not turn on, the upper power indicator
light fails to light up.
⇒ T he mains plug is not in the socket /
power or fuse issue in the house.
⇒ R einsert the mains plug / Check the circuit breaker
or consult an electrician.
The appliance is not emitting steam even though the
power indicator lights up.
⇒ The appliance needs more time to heat up.
⇒ W ait about 30 seconds until the appliance has
warmed up. The steam indicator light lights up.
The appliance is not emitting any steam, the power
indicator and the steam indicator light light up.
⇒ The water reservoir is empty.
⇒ Fill the water reservoir.
⇒ T he appliance automatically turns off to prevent
overheating as soon as the reservoir is emptyand the
steam button is then pressed.
⇒ W ait until the appliance has cooled down
sufficiently and fill the water reservoir.
There is a reduced amount of steam.
⇒ The water reservoir is empty.
⇒ Fill the water reservoir.
