• Never service damaged battery packs. Service of bat-
tery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer
or authorized service providers.
Additional Safety Warnings
• If a protective cover is used on the battery, make sure the
cover is removed and look for damages on the battery before
charging.
• Insert only clean and dry battery packs on to the battery
holder of the charger and tool.
• Make sure the charger is stable when charging, to ensure
that the batteries do not fall to the floor.
• Do not charge damaged battery packs. Replace damaged
battery packs.
• Do not dispose off battery packs by throwing them into fire
or through household waste.
• Always dispose of waste batteries at designated recycling
stations in accordance with national legislation.
• Do not incinerate, dissemble or crush the battery pack.
• Do not expose the battery pack to temperatures above 60
°C.
• Do not charge at temperatures below 0 °C or above 45 °C.
• Avoid contact with fluids oozing out of defective battery
packs. Rinse with water in case of accidental contact with
fluid. Consult a doctor if fluid comes into contact with eyes.
• If you identify noise or extensive heat from a battery:
1. If charging, unplug the charger. Do not remove the battery.
2. Step away from the battery.
3. Leave the battery for 12 hours.
4. Contact your Desoutter representative.

Ensure a longer service life of the battery pack.
Unplug the battery pack when the tool is not used.

Do not leave the battery pack on the charger when the
charger power supply is off.
WARNING Only use or store the battery pack in an
ambient temperature interval stated in chapter Tech-
nical data.
Initial start
On delivery, the battery pack is in Deep sleep mode.
Use the battery pack charger to charge the battery pack
before using it.
How to charge the battery pack
Attach the battery pack to the charger, slide it into position.
